What a clash of eras and cultures, that Sonora! Originally named Bucksnort, it was renamed Sonora thanks to the Hispanic workers who were helping build the L&N railroad.

If the above photo spins any curious thoughts, we'll politely leave them with you. But we do want to defend the fine gents pictured because they were trying to raise money to pay off their new gym.

Speaking of gyms...

Sonora's high school teams were first called the "Green Wave" (although there wasn't much of a stream short of the creek out on Flint Hill Road), but when the space race came on strong, they changed the name to the Comets. And, with honor, comes this t-shirt...

This super-soft, baby-knit t-shirt looks great on both men and women – it fits like a well-loved favorite. Made from 100% cotton, except for heather colors, which contain polyester.

• 100% ring-spun cotton (heather colors contain polyester)
• Baby-knit jersey
• Shoulder-to-shoulder taping
• Cover stitched and hemmed sleeves
• Side-seamed
