There really is a Kingdom Come, KY -- matter of fact, there's a Kingdom Come Kentucky State Park at the crest of Pine Mountain near Cumberland, Kentucky.
The town was named after the popular Civil War novel, "The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come," by Kentucky author John Fox Jr.
And there really was a Kingdom Come school -- Kingdom Come Settlement School, founded by a Methodist mission in 1924. And they were really were called the Wildcats.
