In a six-degrees sort of way, we have John Timmons to thank for this idea. John, who was the owner of the legendary ear X-tacy record store, also gave birth to the “Keep Louisville Weird” campaign when he became the co-founder of LIBA, the Louisville Business Alliance (Buy Local First).
Since our creative team always has a tangent handy, we heard "Keep Louisville Weird" and designed this "Keep Louisville Beer'ed" shirt. It's also befitting because Louavul is a serious beer town.
So, John and beer drinkers from Okolona to the Oldham Co. line, a nod to you. Besides, we were looking for an excuse to keep our weird ways alive.
