The full name of the school is the J. Graham Brown School, but its peeps prefer Brown School as we understand it.
It was -- and will always be -- one of the cooler schools in town. Will Oldham (Bonnie Prince Billy) went there. So did Peter Searcy of post-punk scenesters Squirrel Bait/Big Wheel/Starbilly. And Brian McMahan and Britt Walford (the subject of Jesus Lizard's "Mouth Breather") of Slint were students there, as well.
