Woodrow Thompson Fryman was the baseball pride of Ewing, Kentucky (pop. 278). He signed with the Pirates when he was 25 and threw three shutouts in a row. Later, he suited up for the Expos, Reds, Phillies. He's best remembered as the mid-season acquisition that helped lead the Detroit Tigers to the 1972 AL championship series. Fryman's .769 win percentage was tops in the American League that year, and his ERA+ of 154 is one of the highest in Detroit franchise history.

Nope, he didn't have a baseball camp, but we like the notion so we made the shirt. Wide grin.

This super-soft, baby-knit t-shirt looks great on both men and women – it fits like a well-loved favorite. Made from 100% cotton, except for heather colors, which contain polyester.
