We love the Ozz Man. Saw him in Memphis in '70 when we were @ Murray Straight University.
And, we also want to salute Taylor and Green counties, homes of Clem Haskins (WKU b'ball bad ass) and Henry Skaggs (who rescued Jenny Wiley from some dumb ass kidnappers who wanted to turn her into a WVU cheerleader, or something like that).
So, with this shirt, we're going to pay tribute to both Ozz and Black Gnat, Kentucky.
What's the deal with Black Gnat, you say? Well, it got its name from the local schoolhouse that, when it was painted, became covered in black gnats.* A person remarked about the large number of the black gnats, and the name remained. Black Gnat is located on U.S. Hwy. 68 in both Taylor and Green counties which makes it, uh, bi-countial.
*Murray native and Friend of the Uncommonwealth, Gary Moore, says "We go for bigger varmints over in the Jackson Purchase, yer Monkeys & Possums." Well said, Gar'. Your larger varmints will get their day soon, here.
