Even though local lore connects Paducah, KY to an eponymous Chickasaw chief "Paduke" and his tribe of "Paducahs," Chickasaw higher-ups made it clear that there was never any chief or tribe of that name, much less any words like those in the Chickasaw tongue. Others theorize that Wm. Clark (of Lewis & Clark) named the town for the Comanche tribe which was then called the Padoucas.
Either way, we ain't taken sides -- we just like the name and we like makin' s**t up, too, meaning there ain't no Chief Paduke Motorcycle Club. Btw, dig the Chief's front teeth. This super-soft, baby-knit t-shirt looks great on both men and women – it fits like a well-loved favorite.
